Does it work on Cell phone and Tablets?

How do I change the date format for my organization?

You can change the date formate by clicking settingsOrganizationAccounting Details.

Can I import and export data into mybooks Online?

You can export your data from mybooks, Importing data is not available at the moment.

Can multiple users access my mybooks online company file at the same time?

Unlimited users can access the company file at the same time, But the access also depends on the mybooks Subscription.

Data & Security

What happens to my data if I delete my account?

After 180 days of inactivity, you will be notified of inactivity. After 365 days if there is no activity, then your account will be deleted.

Who else will have access to my data?

Apart from the user authorized by you, no other person will have access to your data.

How my card and Bank information are stored?

Your card and bank information are not stored in mybooks. Mybooks uses stripe for card payments and it uses plaid for access bank feeds. Your card information are saved through stripe and you bank information are saved through Plaid.

Anybody else will have access to card and bank credentials?

No mybooks does not store your card and bank information. This information securely handle by our third party providers Stripe and Plaid.

Can I download my data?

Your data can be downloaded by clicking settingsBack up data. Once you have clicked back up data link to download data will be sent to your email after a an hour from when you clicked back up data.

How do I reset my password?

Password can be reset by clicking forgot password in signin page, Enter your registered email id, Email will be sent to reset the password.

Can I delete my account?

Your account can be deleted by clicking settingsorganizationdelete account

What happens to my data after I stopped using the account?

You can say after 180 days of inactivity, you will be notified of inactivity. and after 365 days if there is no activity, then your account will be deleted.

What happens to my data after deleting the account?

Once the account has been deleted, All the data in the account will be deleted immediatley.

Where can I add taxes in myBooks?

Taxes can be added by clicking clicking Settings → Finance → Taxes.

Can I add multiple currencies?

You can add the currencies by clicking Settings → Finance → Currencies.

Can I track my inventory?

mybooks does not offer inventory tracking, but we will be adding that feature in the future.

Can i connect to my bank and get feed from my bank?

You can connect to bank and get automatic feeds. You can connect more than one bank in mybooks that feature will depend on the subscriptions.

How many banks I can connect in mybooks?

How do I add multiple items to my invoice?

You can multiple items by clicking new row in items. You can unlimited number of items.

Is it possible to add new terms in estimate itself?

Yes can new terms in estimate itself but it will not be defaulted to that customer. You can add by clicking add new terms in estimate.

Can I create credit notes and apply that to the invoice?

Yes, you can create credit notes by clicking new credit note. Once the credit note is created you can apply to bill which can located in credit notes list under options.

Can I create invoice if the customer in the foreign country?

Invoice with foreign currency can be created in mybooks. You can add foreign currency in settings → Finance → Currencies. Once the currencies have been added it will reflect in contacts. You can add the currencies once the contact was added. When the invoice is created it is created in currencies.

If my customer is in foreign country do I have enter the exchange rates?

No mybooks automatically calculates exchange rates. You can calculate manually by clicking Settings → finance → Currencies → Maintain FX rate.

Once the items are selected if I change the customer will the added items disappear?

No, Once the items it will not change even the customer was changed.

Can I create purchase order in mybooks?

Purchase order can be created in mybooks, But this features will depend on subscription.

Reports

What kind of reports I can create in mybooks?

Profit & loss report, Balance sheet, Cash flow, Trial Balance, Sales reports, Purchase reports and Management reports can be created in mybooks.

In what date range I can create these reports?

Reports can be created in these date range today, current month, current year, current quarter, yesterday, previous month, previous year, previous quarter and reports can also be created for custom dates as well.

Who will have access to these reports?

Primary admin, Secondary admin and your accountant will have access to your reports.
