Example data
Buffer $30,000Low point $21,400TodayDec 7Jan 18$55k$10k

Cash dips to $21,400 the week of Dec 7

That's $8,600 below your $30,000 buffer. Chasing Acme Retail Co's $18,200 invoice closes the gap.

How it works

From your books to a plan in three steps.

  1. Connect your books

Link QuickBooks Online or Xero with read-only access, or import a spreadsheet. myPlan can't create, change or pay anything.

  2. See the next 13 weeks

Your invoices, bills and bank balances become a week-by-week cash forecast, with a likely range around the line.

  3. Know what to do

When a week falls below your buffer, myPlan names the week, the gap and the actions that close it, like chasing a late invoice.

What you get

The numbers a CFO would watch, in plain English.

Everything starts from your own books, so every figure traces back to an invoice, a bill or a bank balance.

13-week cash forecast

See cash today, the low point and where you end up, built from your invoices, bills and bank balances.

Ask myPlan

Ask "Can I afford a new hire?" and get a plain-English answer. Every number it states is checked against your books.

Alerts and next steps

Get told early when cash is heading below your buffer, with the actions that would close the gap.

What-if scenarios

Test a hire, an equipment purchase or a late-paying customer before you commit, and see the forecast change.

Reports you can export

Profit and loss, cash flow and balance sheet from the same books, with a CSV export for your accountant.

A buffer you set

Choose the minimum cash you want to keep. Every week that falls below it is flagged, never guessed at.

Ask myPlan

Ask "can I afford it?" and get a straight answer.

Type the question the way you'd ask a finance lead. myPlan answers from your forecast, shows the weeks that matter and suggests a better date.

  • Every figure is checked against your books before it's shown.
  • If data is missing, it says what's missing instead of guessing.
  • It can only read your data. It never contacts customers or changes your books.
Example
Can I afford a $12,000 equipment purchase in December?

Not in December. Cash would fall to $9,400 the week of Dec 7, which is $20,600 below your buffer.

Waiting until Jan 11, after Acme Retail Co's $18,200 invoice is paid, keeps you above it.

Questions

Before you connect your books.

Can myPlan change anything in my accounting software?

No. The connection is read-only, so myPlan can't create, edit or pay anything. You can disconnect or revoke access from QuickBooks or Xero at any time.

Which accounting software does it work with?

QuickBooks Online and Xero. If you use something else, you can import a spreadsheet.

Is a forecast or an answer from Ask myPlan financial advice?

No. They're estimates built from your data and can be wrong, especially if your books are. Treat them as information, check important figures against your books, and take advice from a qualified professional before a big decision.

Where is my data stored?

On Amazon Web Services in the Asia Pacific (Mumbai) region, encrypted. The Privacy Policy lists every provider that handles it and why.

How do I delete my data?

In Settings, choose "Delete this business" to remove its books, forecasts, alerts and connections, then "Delete my account" to remove your sign-in.
